What's everyone's thoughts on the extra height. I know the quality goes to step but is the ls3 any different than what's out there ?

The LS3 Steel was supposed to be Bauer's version of Step Steel. I haven't heard much about it but its supposed to be comparable to Step Steel

So I skated on them today and profiled them before I went out but not sure if u has the same feeling - could feel the Ice alot more all the cracks and bumps and it seemed like it was harder to snap into a turn end of the skate my feet were pretty sore. I know I won't be used to it right away but did u guys feel somewhat the same feeling

I'm having steep installed at the shop now , I've asked for it to be grounded down a tad.
I personally don't like feeling high up. Plus it mess with my stick lengths n such,

Skated for the first time in them today also with a brand new boot ....
The height was amazing , not an issue as I thought it would be.
Tight hard turns where I'd usually lose an edge , did not happen.

I was on the ice for 2 hours just skating trying to break the skates in so
I put them to the test,

Only issue for me was my stick was too short now so an ex extension of just .5 an inch was added later.
