I have an older visor. No dents or cracks but from being older the film coating has scratches.

Is there a way to remove the coating? So I just am left with the bare visor plastic for use? There is an anti-glare/anti-fog film that Oakley uses. The result isn't so much a "scratch" as a cracking or spider-webbing of the film (not the visor).

Thanks.

Not a clue, I'm not a doctor and this could be a horrible idea but maybe dip it in paint thinner and scrub it off with some paper towels?
