There is a new 2011-2011 Kings shell on ebay right now. Pretty cool. Stoll's I think.

I had a pair, kidney protection was terrible. One cross check broke the plastic and lacerated my kidney.

Those always confuse me since I don't remember what he had on his gloves (haven't bothered looking it up) but since he wore 27 in SJ, the 97 doesn't make much sense.

It broke the plastic so the guys shaft went longways across my side....just a nasty bruise on the surface, but it actually tore the outside of my kidney. After the hit I knew I was hurt, but played it out. Didnt know it was that bad until I took a piss after the game and it was bloody. Was out through the rest of the season. Thanksfully it was just a small one so I didnt have to get surgery. I now make sure I buy pants with good uppers.....which pretty much all are these days. I switched to Tackla 5000's after that.
TL, DR: Bruise on the outside, tear inside, buy good pants.

Man if i wasn't so broke right now I would pay 300+ bucks for those things... thats how awesome i think they are.
