Also, i was told by my rep that only lock thumb is available. Does anyone know if the unlocked thumb is old news or if he just didnt know about it?

Can't wait to see how the Gretz cuff comes out. I had a pair of pro stock Marek Malik Cannucks gloves that had a similar cuff that I loved, been thinking about doing either a pair from eagle or a Pat mod.

You are able to get an unlocked thumb.

Couple questions before I put my order in from some of you that have ordered a couple pairs. My last Eagles were pre Vaughn PPF's, so I was curious how the fit of the current X804 X905 and newer PPF's fit.

If you got plastic in the fingers, you'll still see the outlines through the cowhide.  They'll show even worse over time...

Your "unlocked thumb" is a glove without a lock thumb in it.  Most retail gloves, including "pro model", came without them

just crazy, in general. but pretty interesting to see some of the mods and the prices associated with them.

oh well. Im okay with which ever thumb, just thought it would be cool to see but too late now.

I know, but you said X804 X905, there is no such thing as an X804 so I was asking if you meant the X805 or the X844 or both?

Sorry I meant them both, a comparison across the board is pretty much what I'm looking for in terms of how the fit differs

The X844 is the widest of the 3 models.  The Aero is the most narrow and therefore the X905 is in the middle.  The X844 has longer hand than the other 2 and shorter fingers.  The Aero has shorter hand and longer fingers and the X905 is in the middle and the X805 will fit the same as the X905.
