That it is..... I'd feel better about buying them if everything was intact and the seller wasn't trying to hide something. There's only 1 reason you erase names or logos from sticks.
The "that's @#!$& ridiculous" on ebay thread

Some equipment guys (especially in the AHL/ECHL) are very paranoid about stuff getting traced back to the team and affecting the terms of their stick deals with Reebok/CCM - hence removing serial numbers, etc....
But I agree it comes across as sketchy - if you are that worried about getting in trouble, then they probably shouldn't be selling in the first place. These X60's are old stock though, not even Bauer can bitch too much about these hitting the aftermarket.

Every ECHL/AHL team pays Reebok/CCM a flat rate each season for a allotted amount of equipment and sticks. Everything else needed past the allotted amount is paid by the team on top of what they've already given. Ive heard of Reebok being generous with helping teams out if they are having excessive breaking issues. I think when Reebok first started sponsoring those leagues there was a "unlimited" amount of sticks given to each team as long as they scanned the old barcode. That system was obviously excessively abused.
I've sold 100's maybe even over 1000 sticks on ebay and I've never had to erase a name off the shaft. It would be better if the seller just didn't show the picture of the scratched off player name/ stick specs.

Sorry if this is a member here but nothing says "SKETCHY" or "BACK DOOR TEAM SPECIAL" like sanding off the names on a stick. To each their own!!
I looked up some of his feedback and at least some of the sticks he sold in the past were purchased with the name scratched off when he bought them. But I did ask a question about one of his sticks and he didn't seem to know much about hockey sticks which seemed a little weird since he has purchased so much gear

No LOA, no care
NHL teams could care less that you want a pair of brand new Warrior Luxe/Franchise custom thumb loop super custom digi toilet paper soft palm with double added reinforced custom Warrior logo backhand padding gloves or a 17 flex double kreps curve upside down toe hook stick from your fav player/team. -Bakes

Might just know how to buy low and sell high .... Not really concerned with the info ??
Certain stick info is too much for me to even bother with ....

In my head, the 9K girdle is worth about 150$, but a 9K shell is not worth 175$

Baker has listed shells alone for $250-300, and I already got an offer for more than what you stated.
Girdles brand new are selling for $199.99, which this is brand new, and shells have easily sold for $150-250, so I don't understand why Baker can list things for prices much higher and get the "If someone is stupid enough to pay, supply/demand, etc" in his defence, that makes no sense.
And just like Baker, I ended up taking the buyer's offer. See, everyone goes home happy.
