I want to buy some pro stock pants but I don't want to the NHL team logo on the pants. The logo is stitched into the pants, not a patch. Is there a way to remove the logo?

It may ruin that specific area of the pant. Maybe ruin isn't the right word but depending on how small and tight the threading is on the design will determine how many puncture holes you will have and if you'll be able to see them. Chances are that you will and the pant itself in that area will be ruined.
If you want the pants for the quality, why not buy them and purchase a cheap shell to put over the pant? Plenty of companies like Easton, Warrior, CCM, etc. make them in different colors. Or go the extra mile and find a pro shell?
Just a thought.

You might be better off finding material to stitch over the logo. Like other said removing the logo will leave ugly stitch marks and the area underneath the logo may be a bit darker than the rest of the pant leaving a dark patch.

I've been looking for Avalanche, Ducks, Devils and old Stars pants but it's not easy to find them in Medium. Especially, the Devils and Aves pants. Might be getting what I'm looking for though, so I won't have to do it.
you're better off looking for CHL pants. they won't have the nhl logo which doesn't bother me so if it doesn't bother you they pop up on ebay from time to time.

On a similar note, has anyone successfully removed an embroidered player name from a pair of gloves? Would love to see some pics of the results if so.
No pictures but a friend of mine did it to a pair of Canucks Eagle gloves (white name on blue gloves). You could tell there was a name on there before but after a few uses it faded and it looked pretty clean.

First pair came out a lot better than the second. I don't think it's a service they tend to advertise as it's a lengthy process. As I recall, cost was around $70-80.
Seem ripper is the tool to use if you're doing it yourself - good luck.
