play in a bunch but as follow:

- Team plays out of Rinx the one on Duflaw near Yorkdale
- Canlan Scarborough & Vic Park
- Agincourt weekday mornings in the winter $5 shinny for 2 hours can't beat it, most of the time 2 or 3 guys will have the pad to practice as they want.

How is the league at rinx? some friends from work are thinking of putting a team there

I find the league alright i started from the beginner program, then built out a team from a few of the teams.
From talking to friends that play in other leagues in TO they say it is a lot less chippy then the rest, i don't mind it at all.

Winnipeg rinks:

Archwood Community Centre - my favourite outdoor rink. Right by the river and surrounded by trees to shelter from the wind.

Highlander - where I play beer league.

Notre Dame - Great ice any time of the year.

The Old Ex - Saturday morning pickup.

I play everywhere, but those are the four I know the best. I dig Dutton and Max Bell because they're international size.

Playing at Dutton later on today hah, love the silo you have to go through to get to the rink.
PS glad to see a local.

Considering our team plays in 4 different leagues we play in a lot of different Barns around the Lower Mainland, probably close to 20 different rinks, the favorite being the Queens Park Arena, great traditional rink and home to old New Westminster Bruins Hockey Club. Also Play 2 games a year at Rogers Arena {home of the Canucks}which is pretty cool, don't get to use the Canucks dressing room but do get in the visitors room.

Oh cool, third rink will be great. Love to see hockey gaining more and more popularity in the area. My home rink was Ice Line, doubt Oaks will be able to compete with them and their quad rink though, ice line's facility really is top notch. I played for Conestoga HS then moved north to Connecticut to play for Gunnery in the prep league up there.

The Gunnery is a cold cold cold cold ass rink. I have a few friends who go there and play and I've skated there a few times
