Last order for Easton was March or April I believe, I can't remember exactly but for any custom sticks etc you had to get your last order in, in full before the cut off date. Nothing custom Easton has been made for the last few months. When that email went out it was a nightmare trying to predict what was needed

I never understood why the Leafs gear guys haven't caught on that there's no black on their uni's and they should have white loops and chin straps...

Those 1N skates look significantly more shallow than the retail.

Steph, do you know if bauer will offer a 1N Curv boot in a V-cut, along with the tech mesh model?

It's cheaper. Significantly cheaper.

How is it cheaper? When I worked at Warrior, a pant was X, shell was X, didn't matter on size and placement of logo. Just curious!

Same. Why would it be cheaper, they still have to do the work to embroider or screen it.

I always thought it was because Lou didn't like flashy

They offer a curve boot in a vapor cut. Believe it's called the 1x? Lol

I would imagine their poster boys have a last so they can make whatever boot in whatever cut to go along with their marketing but who knows.

Always looking for 15" four roll/nexus gloves

Sorry I meant a nexus dressed curv vapor cut. On last years form you had to get the 7000 for a vcut, if you wanted the 8000 you had to get the normal nexus fit

I really hope they continue with an updated tech mesh nexus v cut. I have 7000 v-cuts right now and am not looking to get into a curve boot. Might have to have another pair built just in case.

If I'm being honest with myself I'd say I'm in the same boat. The pro stock 1s looks so clean but i need the tech mesh. I herd the 8000n will be the new vcut model. I guess we'll see

With a good amount of pro's still using tech mesh x90 or 7000 v-cut they'd be crazy to get rid of it. Not to say it wouldn't be done, but I'm sure they'd leave a few players upset

Is it the fit or the performance of the boot? I would assume the 1x is stiffer but how do you notice differences in performance? Thanks !

are the nexus 7000's the same as nexus 1000's in fit and specs?

They'd definitely leave a few of their most important players upset: Duncan Keith, Erik Karlsson, Drew Doughty (5 of the last 7 Norris Trophies right there), Jonathan Toews.

They'd be insane to not continue offering it. Plus, they already had Toews in the updated look for the line, so why would they stop with him and not extend the offering to their countless pros who swear by the Stealthed Napor?

I'm pretty sure Toews was already mentioned in this thread for these new boots, too.

It's the flex, curv skates are so stiff to me that my stride ends up getting shortened and I get noticeably more tired and slower during a shift. The tech mesh is the best imo.

I know they made a nexus 1000v which had the same fit but I'd say the construction was different. The 7000v is just an x90
