Does anyone put anything protective on the palm of gloves before using them? My first pair of pro stock gloves are on their way, not really sure what type of palms to be honest. I thought about buying a palm saver or palmskinz to put over the high wear spot at the butt of my left hand.
I use Wilson tennis over grips, do I need to do anything else? I have a pair of Bauer 4 rolls that are years old that don't have any holes but they have reinforcements and aren't pro stock.

i get my local shoe/leather repair guy to install a "palm patch" on all my gloves on the top hand.
takes 5 mins to get used to the "extra" piece of padding, but never wears through (or takes a super long time) because i've been using 2 pairs of 4 rolls for about 3 years and the patch is still in great shape. ill post a pic later if u want

Poly tape on the butt end is what I do. Never see any wear

Purchased my first pair of pro stock gloves. Iginila AX1 Navy warriors from stack the pad. Bought them without knowing much about the gloves, but they have digital palms which I think is a good thing aside from durability. Additionally I think they may be Franchise dressed as AX1, since there is not any sort of AX1 marking inside the glove. I'm not sure how I feel about the solid one piece lower cuff and the thumb not being a flex thumb but I'll give them a shot.

You are correct, they are Franchises with AX1 badging.
The "stock" under cuffs on the Franchises are so bad. You could send them to Pats to get changed to something more flexible like the Hossa or Kovy undercuff.
