Gauging interest in custom Easton sticks Kovalchuk pro curve LH

Didn't want to post this in the for sale thread as i don't have the sticks yet but i was wondering if anyone here was interested in a few twigs out of my custom order as I can't see myself keeping all of them.

The Minimum order was 12 and all of one hand only. I placed my order yesterday and usually it takes 8 weeks to fulfill, I'm thinking it will be closer to 10-12 weeks though as playoffs approach and easton is probably swamped since the lockout ended. This gives you guys plenty of time to save

Specs are as follows

Stick model : Easton RS2
Stick Graphic : Easton RS2
Hand: Left
Grip: Yes
Blade finish: shark skin/ztac
Length: Regular Retail Height
Name bar : RGN 71
Flex : 73 (I'm short lol)
Curve: kovalchuk NHL pro (as per barcode attached)

The cost would be $200 per stick plus shipping, not the cheapest that's for sure. I am making no money on this so the price is NOT negotiable. Also, I am not a dealer or a LHS owner/employee. A good family friend works for Easton and helped me put this together.

Because Kovy never really used easton sticks I used the barcode from the s17 being sold on eBay. It will look like this but in LH.

I'm planning on keeping 3-4 so I guess when they eventually arrive I'll revive the thread and see if those who had previously shown interest still want one.

The rules I was told was that it can be any current stick model painted as any current stick model. I actually wanted rs2s
Painted as s19 pures but they said no. If you check the for sale section I'm helping a friend who custom ordered some spezza RH sticks that are mako 2s painted as rs2s.

For those wondering why it's $200, unfortunately I live in Vancouver where sales tax is 12%.

Did you really order 73 flex or is that a typo? I'm just wondering because I'm familiar with the A, B, C, flex code system Easton uses for pro stock sticks.

 

Nevertheless I'm definitely interested in snagging at least one of those custom RS2s if the flex is in the mid 70's. Check your message box Gymmonster...

Jagr, leino, and Neal for the curve.
If anyone needs those codes btw I have pictures of them.

With regards to the flex, I originally wanted a shorter than retail stick (58") at 75 flex but it would probably be harder to sell non retail length sticks so my family friend suggested I try 73 flex. He told me that some players have specific flexes, for exmple camelleri uses 82/83 flex. I am somewhat familiar with the letters on pro sticks with A being 75 flex. If it is 75 and not 73 it should still be ok.

While the curve will be kovy's the shaft shape will be the pro preferred shape on the retail rs2. It will have rounded corners and straight sidewalls.

Kovy and Zherdev are the same curves my zherdev t1 has kovalchuck engraved in the blade.

hmm the RS pro zherdev I saw looked more open, maybe it was just one of his tester sticks. Looked almost like an Ovi curve.

Looks like we have quite a few interested. I've paid for the order so it's all just a waiting game now. If the thread dies I will revive it when I receive the sticks and see if everyone is still interested.

Sticks are in but they made me Neal's curve instead because they couldn't clone the kovy. Ill pm everyone to see if you're still interested.

What does the Neal curve look like?
