I just got some Reebok shorts - the compression fit ones. How are the edge socks supposed to connect to the velcro flaps on the shorts?

The Edge socks have one vertical velcro loop strip, and a hook piece (loose) that is not sewn to the sock . Guy in the store had no idea.

Socks should be worn with garters period:)

The best thing is to wear a garter, I find that the short with velcro's never hold the socks very well.

The loose peice is so that you can sew it to your jock shorts or whatever. However I've always used a Garter and will probably never change.
Phrasing people! Phrasing!!!

I'll spare the details but I have too much tied off around my waist - compression short, garter, jock strap, and pant strap and it's giving me sort of a gastritis (on days I drink that Venti Non fat 1/2 sweet Iced mocha from Starbucks) can't help it I like them. it's a bit annoying constant (bad) pain. OK so if I goto just shorts that eliminates the lot esp if I use suspenders. I have never used suspenders before.

Just threaded the lower bobbin of our vintage White sewing machine, gonna have at 'er.

update - all I had to do was sew a 1" strip of velcro loop to the rear inside edge of the sock. Took a few minutes per sock done deal. Already have lots of hook and loop from other projects. I'll see if I can post a pix later.,

I cut the velcro tab off of Reebok socks as soon as I get them. I've worn a garter for years and have never had one issue with keeping socks up.

I've played two games with the RBK shorts and velcro and TWO THUMBS UP! Much freer, faster stride. Around our room I would say a good majority of the guys are rocking the velcro setup including a guy who doesn't normally splurge for gear.
