I am not sure about this stick, But I can tell you there are a good number of fakes out there. There was a time last year that a bunch of Total Ones and APX were coming from a some people locally here that were replcas. And soon after there were RS that appeared.
All of the sticks were Backstroms and Halls. 85/87 flex and 100/102.
They were very well done. The graphics, stickers etc, However as mentioned above. The shaft shapes were not quite right for retail. When you pulled out the plugs was were you could see it best. The other slight difference was the warranty stickers. They were in slight different font than the true retails.
I had some of the kids buy them from kijiji. And came to me to show them.
And on a different note. I am always looking for sticks. So from time to time I will reach out in ads. I was actually contacted by a sales guy from a company in India. He offered me sticks that would be exact replicas of Total Ones or RS sticks. 68 buck each on orders of 100 or more. I was pretty amazed how the guy knew his stuff pretty good. Leads me to believe there are a lot of interest in this.I wish I had money to burn just so I could see what its all about.
Bottom line. Yeah be carefull. Take a look at all the features including fonts, inside the shafts on the top.

What would be the difference between a fake stick and a real stick? In the font inside the stick?
Wouldn't the European patent make a difference also between the 2 sticks (if one as the european patent stamp)

I would still have to say that the warranty stickers on the back would be the same fonts on North American and European retail sticks.
The RS and the APX I saw with the different fonts were the same on both sticks. A bit more blocky.
Other than that. The other stickers and writing was ok. The shafts on the sticks were not the traditional concave rounded. They were a bit more square. And more so noticed when the end plugs were taken out. And compared in shape to other retail sticks.

Its funny cuz you see no difference between a real one ! Same weight and the graphic is exactly the same ! The worst thing in all that is that they come from the same manifacture where Bauer are making their own stick .... One of my friend wanted to create a stick for is own hockey shop with is own graphic .... He finally stopped on a Chinese composite Manifacture that is Call Bonny Sports, this compagny are making the real bauer sticks !! I already bought Pro stock from the QJMHL and ther was on envellope with the sitck and it was from Bonny sports ! When he started making is own stick , the manifacture ask him if he wanted low price BAUER and Easotn RS2 sticks ... So he bought somme and this is where those sticks are comming from !! They are all NXG, APX, NEXUs , 85 or 102 flex backstrom ,stamkos or Kronwall curve ! Rs2 are 85 or 100 flex curve hall ! They are all Euro pattented number! the grip on the stick is lilttle bit different from the original grip tack and the foam of the blade seems to be diffeent !
