I think they're keeping the name and everything still. It runs good on its own. What caused the bankruptcy was the change in standards for the little league bats a few years ago. They had to eat a couple million dollars in returns for bats people couldn't use.

This news will not change anything in hockey.
IMO Combat hockey will dissappear and Bauer will start to market the other sports, which they've been wanting to get in to expand their business growth.

This is more toward the baseball/softball, or (I'm not too sure) LAX, and soccer side of things. This is to try to battle Easton on three fronts. Hockey, Baseball, and one other I can't think of.

Doesn't Bauer own the cooper name still? Cooper was big in baseball at one time, and Bauer got out of the bat business so be interesting if they do get back into it..
