I use them. I bring a different one along each week then I throw my wet nasty stuff in them, then throw them in the laundry around 12:30 in the morning when I get home. It's better than the nasty heap I normally throw beside the machine

This, most convenient thing I've done is bought laundry bags.

Exactly what they're for!

Just wish the seller didn't mark them as Warrior, as they are anything but.

Glad you are enjoying them!

I use mine religiously.  All my laundry (minus jersey) goes in that bag, including towels.  Get home, pull it out and throw it in the wash, throw it in the dryer, throw it back in my bag.  No need to dig around my bag to make sure I didn't forget to take a dirty sock out...more importantly, I'm certain I didn't forget anything for my next skate.  Makes things much easier and efficient.

I have the Dallas Stars #55, which matches my beer league jersey/number :-)  Assuming that's your work Marcelo?

This is why i just use a normal retail bag with side pockets. I do own a pro bag but that's used for storing all my extra back up gear. I never understood why pro bags don't have more compartments and dividers. And even still i use a laudry bag for my gear before i put it in the separate compartments.

Pro bags are designed as they are for a very specific purpose, and that doesn't always fly with what the needs are of the general hockey player who lugs all their own equipment around.  The size is specific for packing all the bags together, but also a lot of the stuff we carry around with us doesn't even go in a pro players bag.  All of the team laundry is in a laundry specific bag or trunk, skates typically are not even kept in the players bag, they all go into a trunk or specifically made bags to carry the teams skates.  Think about the stuff we take with us, tape, maybe a couple of tools like a screw driver, blade stone, etc...none of that goes in a pro players bag.  It's literally just their equipment and their toiletry bag.  So for them it makes sense to have it be one compartment

You can take it one step further and think of it from an EQM's point of view, they have to unload 25 bags at 3AM, if everything is in individual compartments, how much time does that add to their job of unpacking...then when they have to get to their plane after a game, is it easier to just throw everything in one large bag or putting everything into specific compartments?

For me personally, I use an Eagle Pro bag, then I have two toiletry bags...one for shower stuff, one for tape/tools/etc.  My laundry bag, then the rest is just equipment.  Works well for me.  The small square size of the bag works great for packing in my car (especially when carpooling with a couple of my teammates) and great for flying.

I look at it this way. Pro bags are for transporting gear from locker room to locker room. Tape, tools and others are packed up and shipped seperately. No reason to pack a players bag with tape and what not. It's all systematic for the EQM's I guess?

Edit:posted this without seeing Mike0's post.

Mike, I have the same set up, it's convenient and I know where everything is. Really helps mr eliminate the chances of forgetting something of misplacing something.

If it has a full color logo and number on it, it is our work.

More and more NHL teams are going to this setup.  Unfortunately, because of $, AHL and ECHL aren't going this direction.

I've seen some of the EQMs not using laundry bags anymore and going for 'laundry loops'.

Mainly at the minor league level. They use loops because many minor league buildings and practice facilities still use home washing machines and not commercial machines.

It's also a good way to reduce a players laundry.

laudry loops look like a bad idea, just looks like a big tangling mess waiting to happen.

My loop is one of the bestthings ive ever made myself. Gitch goes into the wash, into the dryer then sits on a hook in my hockey stall. No mess, nothing gets lost and i know where everything is

In many respects, you are correct. However, in a non-commercial/non-front loading machine, they wash better.
