Wow, what a game.

I gotta say the leafs played a really exciting series. Good for them for giving leaf fans some excitement and good hockey for a change. Not just for the play offs but for the whole year.

On another note

Phaneuf is pure garbage that's all I have to say. Can't make a god damn play to get the puck out of the zone. Can't make a good smooth pass. Can't move people out of the net infront of reimer.

This was an absolute incredible game from start to finish. I've always been a James Reimer fan and rebounds have always been the one knock against him. This series was really a lot of fun to watch, unreal ending

Wayyyyyy to many ppl bitches me and my team early. Never count ppl out! I sat on the edge of my couch with my Bergy jersey on fingers crossed down 4-1.

4-2 ok there is hope. More ppl texted me shitting on me. 4-3 I jumped up fist pumped and hit my ceiling. After that I thought of last nights game 6 last min goal. BAM! 4-4 I flipped out and ran down my hallway yelling haha.

Overtime I went in my spare room aka bruins den and gear room and put my replica Stanley cup ring to start a new superstition ritual.

BAM peanut butter and jam we did it! I did a ovi style slide fist pump. Then being classy just made a status of ppl you spoke too soon!

Bob Mackenzie already reporting that there's rumors of Phaneuf being traded for draft picks.

 

There were so many times where you watched him being out there for waaaaay too long and ending up of position, dead tired and being caught. His turnovers alone surpassed a dozen easily but I gotta feel bad for him still, I think too much is put on his shoulders from the top brass.

unexpected season from the leafs capped by a massive disappointment. youth was trumped by experience in game 7, to me it's that simple. the guys who played that game will never forget the game and next time they'll be able to close it out. it's hard to say the leafs should be proud of how they played because they were so inconsistent throughout the series and the game 7 collapse was epic. they outplayed the bruins for a large part of the series and in 3 of the 4 games the leafs lost they were the better team. but they had breakdowns and gaffes which cost them. 

 

tuesday is going to a be a brutal day on toronto sports radio. think i'll listen to the cbc instead of a whole day of rehashing the game and murdering phaneuf.
