Ok.. May be a stupid question but I've never had this happen.. Junior/college.. Never. But here is my issue. Have a pair of NXGs, I skate in a once a week men's league now just for fun with friends. The skates fit me like a glove, never had issues. Took like a 2 month break.. Have skates four or five weeks since coming back and my skates absolutely kill my feet. I'm talking excruciating pain then when I take them off after I can't put any pressure on my feet for several minutes because the pain is so bad. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this?

Once in a while I have the same problem and its because I tie my skates really tight. Try not tying the first 4 holes so tight.

Only time I notice anything about my skates hurting is in tourneys. If my skates don't air dried or hung up and I end up not getting a change of dry socks ill feel rubbing. That's explainable.

Did you store your skates under gear ? Just trying to guess something happening like the boot closed in on top from weight on it.

Yes they were honestly just sitting in my bag during that time. Usually I'm really good about airing them out but during my break they just sat in my bag. Also. It's like the entire foot minus the ankle and heel

My Total One skates hurt my feet if I crank all the eyelets.  With a modern day skate there really isn't a need to do so since the boot is stiff enough already.  I do up all the eyelets just snug enough and I crank the last 2-3 at the top.  Worst case scenario take it back to your local shop for a bake/punch.

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

What kind of socks to you use?  I know that if i use regular cotton socks my feets will be burning like hell.  Using superfeets also helped with the confort.
