What are the best pants out on the market for a shorter wider guy? I find some that fit my waist but are a little too long.

atleast in general haha i like tacklas cause theyre pretty easy with finding +/- lengths

I'm a shorter/wide guy and I like the fit of medium 7000's. I have a large pair of Eastons Pitkanen pants that fit me the best, but not sure what model because there aren't any tags. I'll see if I can do a little research and let you know. I'm about 5'8" with 34"-36" waist (depending how much beer I drank in the last month) for reference.

 

I do use 1053 uppers with 7000 lowers and that plays a big role on how they fit, so keep that in mind of you're playing around with two-piece pants. You can have lowers that fit you great, but if they aren't matched with the right uppers then they may feel clunky, or visa versa.

Your best bet for 7000s is eBay. Tons of pairs in nearly every color and size. Just not as much demand for that model so they linger for quite a while

9000's are great pants. Mine about 6 or 7 years old and have held up great. They are also available in short and tall lengths.
