Are u using the step holders? It’s a more aggressive forward pitch than tuuks

I have True's with Tuuks and I felt like they had a much more forward pitch than my Supreme's. It just took a couple skates before I got used to it. No alterations needed.

Used my new VH pro stock's Today , which seller from SLS said they were 7.5D ( my size for Vapors & Jetspeeds ). Had them baked , felt really good , just the heel's were not totally locked in. But I had that with the Ccm's & Bauer's.

Is it weird that the clamp and tensor didn’t work for me? Moved into supertacks and finally have good heel lock

Do True's build include support for your arch? I'm thinking of getting orthotics build in for them but i guess it's best to bring the skates in regardless.

Bought pair of brand new VH's made in 2016 on SLS. Seller listed them as 7.5d ( my Bauer / Ccm size ). Asked a lot of questions , took a few days to decide. Had them baked & they are Awesome. Super heat moldable.

I had a pair of Petry wheels last year and they were  the right length, but something didn't feel quite right.

Hopefully these will feel better considering they were made for me. :D

Am I the only one who didn't love them? I feel like I get a much better heel lock in my Super Tacks, plus they're lighter and a lot less restrictive.

The heel lock is not perfect , but best I ever had. Putting them on is a hassle getting the lace tips into eyelit's, was shown a trick . pull tongue forward & put though eyelit behind tongue , then lift lace over tongue. have to be careful taking them off , can not push on tendon guard , as it is held on by rivet. But on the ice they feel Great. Really love the way the boot wraps around foot.

I agree with the wrap. Its incredible. But could never get the heel to lock which drove me absolutely nuts. Wrap is similar on the ST but i like the heel lock better.

The way these are made is when ur feet are in the stride /lunge position. So it's built around your foot last in that position. That's why the heel pocket is deeper than other retail boots. I noticed and spoken to others who agree that when Walking upright, it feel as if the heel isn't locked in or cupped as much as you would expect or want or even vs other retail skates (because it's a deeper pocket). This is because the boots are made to lock ur heel in when you are in stride and ankle and knee flexed forward, driving the heel into the heel cup.

This is done on purpose and why biomechanically these skates make you feel like you have more flexion, and for me, I feel like I'm putting way less effort skating. It's def not a skate for everyone as everyone has their preferences on how they want their skates to fit and feel.

I'm sure if the scans were done with the person standing upright or even sitting, the boots would provide a diff and even better heel lock when you are walking around but in hockey we aren't walking around. The performance we want is when we are skating, knee bent. Ankle flexed.

True is able to make a very stiff boot but also a boot that doesn't restrict forward flexion at all even when using all the eyelets. You see more and more pros skipping eyelets on CCM and Bauer skates bc even though they all wear custom skates, the way they are built is very different than with trues and don't offer a very biomechanically correct skate.

Also moulding doing the tensor and or stretch wrap will provide you with that much more wrap and lock. For me it didn't really make putting the skate on and taking off any more difficult. But I'm lucky because I have skinny ankles.
