Indeed, wicked strong, and lots of time on the ice as well as mingling with the hockey elites of the last three or four generations.

I can get a 120 to flex, though still obviously nowhere near the velocity or accuracy...not even the same universe. A big element in shaft flex seems to be timing. There's a broader sweet spot for loading a softer shaft, and a tighter one for a stiffer shaft. You don't need to flex the stiffer shaft as far to get the same kick though.

i am 190 lbs and i cant use 85 flex , im using 100-115 flex and i like the feel its all about preference i think patrick kane is using 107 flex and hes small ,also with a 2 peice you feel the puck pretty well and the kovy blade are very stiff its a plus for stick handling
