It all depends on the seller. I have made a couple of purchases and have had great experiences. I will say to look at their previous sales, be leery if they don't have pics that show the item from all sides/angles and ask questions.

I bought gloves and skates off there recently. they give the seller 7 days to ship items. which is insane. and it's been over 7 for the gloves from cthockey and he still hasn't shipped them. skates will be 7 days on Wednesday. PayPal also needs to be a payment option

When that happens I usually wait to approve the item or let the 72 hours clear cause the funds don't get cleared until you approve it or the time window passes. I think it's only fair they made me wait I can make them wait.
They did help me resolve a case where a guy listed a V08 helmet as small but it was actually a large. Return process was easy (although I had to make the arrangements and they said they would give me credit later).
Strange about cthockey though. Usually they are very fast to ship.

sws actually canceled the sale on them and refunded my money because they didn't ship within the 7 days. i didn't even ask
