Yeah..I was sort of bummed at the news as well. Although, for nothing more than visuals, I truly hope they keep that small "Reebok" logo on the stick when released. Something mentally comforting to me seeing it, lol.

Also noticed you can slightly see someone's prostock specs on the stick and no ribs, so I'm guessing this is a dressed stick for the upcoming season. As long as they keep the tiny "Reebok" on the retail I'll be buying.

Found a lot more pics floating around when I did a search for ccm 40k Ribcor.

like that darker less flashy color combo black/grey/neon green is a winner!

Funny...I found the design and color combo hugely more flashy than the original Ribcor model. Lots more green and logos everywhere. In still buying one but def feel too much going on with the design.

i wouln't say flashy but the green lines add a nice touch and makes it stand out a bit more compared to the current ribcore desing.

The main thing I liked about the original Ribcor was the lack of flash. It was so simple, classy even (lol) for a hockey stick. Reebok and their need to throw neon green on everything I always found odd. Oh well, as I said I'll be buying.

Curious...when the rep brought in the sticks months ago they def still had the ribs in the Reebok models. All the leaked CCM images I've found don't have the ribs. I wonder if they are just dressed models of other sticks or if CCM did away with them.
