I tried the Skate Fenders in the past, I didn't dislike them, but just found these models available at retail.

I have the XT, use them from time to time, doesn't help if I take one off the side of the skate.

Hey Dupes, i'm an avid shotblocker, you know, the idiot that's always in the shooting lane in your friday night beer league. I have always taken more pride in blocking a shot than scoring a goal.

I bought the XT Lite and Xt Shorty, they cost me 220$ shipped to Quebec City.

Yes it is expensive but my feet/ankles are worth a lot more that this. I am also in a very good and durable pair of skates so they will be good for a while.

I highly recommend them. You literally don't feel them on your skates except when lacing them. the XT/XT Shorty makes it harder to lace your skates if you got waxed laces.

I like the skate fenders better. More teams use them from what I've seen wings, Erie otters , and Lssu just to name some but they might look a little
Bulkier but never feel them when there on

Been using the shorty for a while now. Great investment. Kinda bummed they put the yellow on them, the older versions were plain black

Love mine. I added a layer of mouse pad under the part that goes over the tongue. I incidentally blocked a shot by a former minor leaguer and felt NOTHING. That's the sign of a good bit of protection.

If you are talking about the shotblockers, im sure they do. They custom fit every pair to your skate model/size.

I have the Skate Fender but find them to be clunky over top of my Makos (as I ice my ankle after having taken a hard pass off of it from a D man's outlet pass who I was forechecking, after having not worn the Fenders). So yea, I am wearing the Fenders again, and not really too bothered by them.
