It is what it is, game one was won by one of the absolute best pure goal scorers in the game. All of the Bruins haters come out during the playoffs it is so predictable. The only dirty players wear Black and Gold, oh yeah let's not comment on the DeKeyser cross check on Marchand that was deserved right? Gentleman, this is Hockey last I checked and the playoffs nonetheless.Pick a team you like and root for them and quit bashing the others.Enjoy the next month it's gona get a little rough!Just my opinion.

I'm a bruins fan and I hate marchand but look at the way his right knee twists.

so he now claims but his reputation preceeds him. love how he does the extra barrel roll just to make sure the ref sees him.
I like the Bruins but Marchand's antics, particularly in the playoffs are embarrassing.

im one of the biggest marchand haters out there but he def. twisted that knee when he went down. the barrel roll is another story
Now I see it. Couldn't tell what you guys were talking about.
Looks like his knee gets torqued pretty good there when he lands.

Looks like a quick hyperextension when he landed straightlegged. The interviews with him and Smith were cool. They both said they would aggravate each other every chance they get. Tons of tweets about the wrong leg thing and his reply was that is why you are tweeting and I am in the NHL. Just like Ken Linseman, hate him when you are playing against him but they all seem to love having him on their team. Lets see if they continue tonight.

Good job by the Bruins, here's hoping they can hammer the Habs. I'm curious to see what kind of off-season moves the Wings make. There needs to be changes. Get rid of Bert, Sammy, Cleary. Buyout Franzen. Take a run at some of the good UFAs. I'd really like to see them try to sign Niskanen if he doesnt go back to Pittsburgh.
Also, is it just me or was the reffing today awful to both sides? There penalties called on the Wings I thought were BS, and the same for the Bruins.

They need a quality offensive defensemen. Powerplay was awful. Bert, Sammy and Cleary are all UFA's and can't imagine a situation where they are resigned. As frustrating as the mule is to watch him public skating out there half the time he still puts up decent numbers for his price tag thats somewhat reasonable compared to what other guys have signed in the last few years.

Exactly what I was saying on Franzen to somebody else, everybody wants a buyout but his contract kinda a steal for what he can do when HE wants. Atleast they made the playoffs with such a young team might stop him from going after guys he had seasons ago just for the sake of he's had them before. Team needs to stay young with exception of the current core
