Every Stanley Cup celebration since 1949. Every hockey player's dream.

Goosebumps, really touching moments in 98 and all the guys who waited all their careers to win one like selanne, anderchyuk, brind'amour, bourque.

it's pretty cool to see that in 1959 the cup was actually alot smaller.

I wonder how big the cup is going to be in 100 years when there's so many more teams to add on it.

The cup stays the same size, the hockey hall of fame "retires" (takes a segment off) and adds a new one every few years so the cup doesnt become huge.

The cup is made up of rings. Everytime the cup fills up they knock down a ring and add a new one.

What do they do with the removed rings? Are they stored for viewing at the HHOF?

Ive been to the hall many times, ive never seen a display for them. I assume they're stored in a big vault/ storage area

I've been a few times too, and never seen them. It's definitely a question I'd like answered. Thanks!
