when I first started back in 2000 I wore the ZLeader visor cage combo. holy carp that thing was HEAVY!

That's an easy #2 or #3 behind/in between this and this, ugliest 2 adult helmets I've seen.

There's a guy that skates in my area that wears the ugliest helmets you can find.  The rest of his gear is reasonably normal.  I don't know if he's trying to be funny, but they're horrendous.  That Cooper SK600 is one of them.  No cage or visor tho.  Just straight bucket.

He's also got one that is probably 50+ years old.  It's like 5 floating pads held together by leather straps.  He was asked by the rink to stop wearing it because it's nowhere near protective enough by today's standards. 

 

I should take a pic next week.  He skates with a group right before my Monday night pickup skate.
