There are a LOT of these listings for used jocks online. The dirtier/smellier the jock, the higher the price it sells at... and people are buying them (WTF!?).

I think these used jocks are sought after by people with fetishes.

The used jock listings seem like money laundering to me, but it's 2022 and I guess anything is possible. I think that Mission skate listing is a joke like those, "selling my kid/teammate/dog for $10,000" listings that pop up all the time over the summer.

That's nuts!  And those weren't even the top of the line ones back then, there was a leather model that was much nicer.  I had a couple pairs back in the mid 90's, I loved those gloves but yea that price is nuts lol
