I just got my new Warrior Franchise pants. I don't particularly like the one piece thigh or the 6 pack belly protector.
Removing the belly protector was a no-brainer (although now I wasted $ on having my name embroidered on it!)
The big mod I am considering, however, is removing the one piece thigh and cutting it so it turns into a two piece split thigh.
Has anyone ever done this? If so, what tools did you use to cut the pad?
Any thoughts?

I've done it before. When I get home from work I can post a write up on how to do it. I'll post pictures along the way. I used to hate single piece thigh pads, but I've become so used to it now that I haven't altered a pair in a while.
