i kind of want to start flopping but the top layer of my white felt graf tongues are a little dirty/ grayish from tucking. how might I get them fre$h and clean as possible?

Goo gone would probably work on them . apply to the felt material, let it soak in then squeeze out with damp facecloth. Takes nasty stains out of the carpet so should work on tongues. That is my opinion.

Soap + water scrub with a toothbrush

An OxyClean paste would work really well (take a tablespoon or so if OxyClean and add a little bit of water at a time until you have a paste). Work it in with a toothbrush and let it sit a bit. This has worked amazingly well for me cleaning Superfeet footbeds. Tricky thing with skate tongues will be rinsing them off without getting the rest of the skate soaked.

Hang the skates upside down whilst washing, rinsing, and drying them.
