Is the prostock stick I bought a real ribcore or a 23k marketed as a ribcore?

Hi,
I bought a pro stock ribcore stick off of ebay and the the stick was advertised as a pro stock ribcore. Although, there is no ribs on it. So I did some searching into the different classes of the ribcore series and found that the only stick from the ribcore series that doesn't have ribs is the 23k. But it doesn't have any 23k markings. I spent $160 on this stick and I'm kinda upset because I looked up the 23k and it's the entry level stick of the series which sells for less than $50. Would they really make a pro stock stick out of the entry level stick? Why would the do that?

The only good quality I found is that the stick is pretty light. Still is there a quality to this stick since it's pro stock that justifies it's price tag?
It's a Brian Flynn #10 prostock with no 23k markings.

Here's the codes on it:
A1
095
Tr
1871
Do2044
006
Sv

This belongs in here - http://www.sports2k....at-do-you-have/

But no, that's definitely not an entry level stick. It's probably a Reebok 20k (last years top of the line model).

I've got a similar stick I snagged from the Detroit shop for $75. Rib graphics but no ribs on it. Logic would dictate that it's also a 20K painted with the new graphics. I bought it because it was cheap and I like the rib graphic.

A true ribcore stick has the code RI where it says SV on yours, so sorry to say that your stick is not a true ribcore

Thanks for the info guys. I knew something fishy was up when there was a stock photo of the ribs of the stick in the add. Luckily it's not hard to get money back on ebay. I wanna make sure I post in the right area next time. Can someone tell me where to post about sticks? I'm new to forums and have trouble since there's so many threads. Wanna get a pro stock Easton v9 or a real ribcore

Most of this is wrong. Yes true ribcores have the RI code but just because it says SV does not mean 20k. SV, SCL, FC, FVL, TLL etc are all independant sticks and flex profiles. A pro tacks stick can have SV on it but that doesnt mean its a 20k. CCM/Reebok just put their newest graphics on whatever flex profile the pro player chooses. Think lf them as the same thing as the pro G3 flex pattern. Its a blank stick that Bauer slaps its newest graphics on.

If the stick has the white sticker at the very top take a look at that.
I've found most of the time the pro stock ribcores have 11K within the long line of letters/numbers. Not saying this makes them 11k's but.....
I also believe Reebok CcM/Reebok has their pro series line of sticks/options they add their current graphics too. I have come across very few actual ribcore sticks with the 6+ AHL teams I deal with.
