Sher-Wood is coming out with a new stick on October 1st, the True Touch T120.

Here's a quick brief on the T120
-    New super light weight stick from Sher-Wood. 395 grams.
-    Features our VRF.2 blade and EKORE technology like the EK15
-    True-one piece stick
-    Mid kick point
-    Same shaft geometry as the T100
-    Wider hosel at the blade area for increased durability and to reduce torsion.
-    Features our flex free zone.
-    Specs listed above offered for launch
-    Remaining specs will be introduced for Jan 1st, 2015.
-    64" version will be offered as well in 95 and 105 flex.
-    New PP14 Plekanec pattern (Toews clone) / no more PP01 Smith pattern

Checkout the catalog here:

It's not like stores stocked the Smith Pattern, but I am disappointed that the Smith is being Dropped. Will have to hunt one down before they are dropped in January.

This new stick looks interesting, hope they release a low kick version. I prefer the shaft shape of the T100 over the EK15.

Ill be testing one out for sure, love the toews curve but nobody has it in stock ever and bauer sticks are expensive.

When is this to be released? Price?

Hello everyone!

Let me take a moment to introduce myself, I’m Michael Soule, Assistant Product Manager for Hockey Sticks at Sher-Wood. I’m here to give you guys’ insight about our products and respond to any questions you may have towards not only the stick category but any questions you might have regarding our brand.

Raft- We have the Smith in the EK15, T90 and T100. If you’re interested in purchasing one send me an inbox message and I’ll help you locate a dealer who has your desired specs.

Raft- The T120 will not be offered in a low kick point version. We really wanted to build two different lines that differentiate themselves from one another. I’m a low kick point type of player myself and I was able to adjust to this stick very easily as it is so responsive.

Bstevens39- October 1st: Three patterns and three senior flexes offered. Nov 15th: Intermediate and Junior offered. January 1st: all remaining specs.

Bstevens39- MSRP in Canada will be $239 and $219 in the U.S.

IMHO that MSRP may steer people away. Part of the reason I, along with many others I played with were using the T90 and T100 due to the relative cheap sale price compared to top end sticks offered by Bauer, Easton, etc. to each his own though, the stick sounds great.

The SMITH pattern would have been the only reason I would have ever bought Sher-wood...

I agree with lank. Its worth trying out but if it doesn't preform as well as bauer or other high end sticks then it not worth little bit of money your saving especially being able to get prostocks even cheaper.

Worth testing out to see how it holds up against other stick but may not be worth it after that. I do like the offering of the hard to find toews curve tho.

Looks sick, but the limited curve offerings and higher price mean I won't be grabbing one. Of course, the price is totally worth it, considering it's the second-lightest and most advanced stick on the market, but Sher-Wood's brand seems to thrive by offering better products for a lower price than the competition. The EK15 definitely followed that model, and it's been quite popular around where I live.

Full disclosure: I'm hoping the launch drives down the price of T90s and T100s. I'd love to grab one of those in PP96 Bouchard to go with my PP05 LI T100 and EK15.

If you're interested in the PP96 Bouchard for the T120, I was told by a Sher-Wood rep that they would become available to it in January I believe.

Wow, that's pretty sweet. Still, the stick is out of my price range. If I ever see a great deal on one (either a used one online or a big sale), I'll grab one for sure if they have the PP96.

I love the T100. My only concern with the T120 is the price.

As you may know, the T120 is now out on the market.

I picked one up just to find out what it was all about.

I plan on trying it tomorrow for the 1st time.
