Hockey shops are kinda of like big foot here in florida. There's a few around buy must suck. Saveology (Miami area, panthers practice facility or at least was), RDV( maitland, north of orlando) and Brandon Ice Forum( lightning practice facility) are probably the 3 best pro shops in the state. Central florida doesn't have hockey stores besides play it again and RDV's pro shop. The Tampa area haves a couple rinks in fairly close together. I don't know south florida all that well though.

The shop at Germaine Arena had some decent stuff when I stopped in last year. I vacation in Naples, and the arena is 20 minutes away in Estero. If they're coming from the Keys, it's not far out of the way.
