I will be in NYC that day...should I go or not? 
I dont want to spend a few hours there for nothing special, especially since Ill be on vacation!

I have a buddy driving up there. Says he's never been either and I haven't heard too much about their sale. I would imagine Kovy or Parise gear won't be floating around the sale. Langenbruners(sp) might though.

From what I hear, they usually have a ton of sticks, not much protective gear

Any word on this for this year? I know they usually have it on draft day which is June 22nd this year, but I haven't heard anything about a sale myself yet. Thanks!

You need to get there REALLY early if you want a chance at anything. I went last year and it was a madhouse. Gloves prices were jacked up to 150+ if it was a star player and still over a 100 for others. Tons of sticks but the righties are gone from the beginning. If you are a fan and want to dedicate the time needed it can be a good sale. If not, don't bother.

My one friend works at the Devil stadium I'm hoping that he can get me in early, that is if I can even go this year. He said its worth paying the $20 fee to be one of the first 200 to get in early if you really want the righty sticks or a chance at the new stuff.

If anyone really wants gloves there is a much better pair then you're gonna find at that sale in the for sale section right now. Some salvador Mega franchise from Buffaloboy I believe
