Most of the newer models since a few years are two piece. Some of the older models i have are 1 piece

Definitely. May not fit as perfectly has a 9k girdle, but will still work.
I will use the shell with an Easton girdle.

You are absolutely right, I just put them on top of each (9k vs easton) and they seem to be the exact shape and length.

Got one of these shells last week and they are super clean.
Just about all of the entire portion of the back of the shell is mesh so it's super airy. Leg zippers, padded belt, and a double belt configuration.
