Daaaaaaaaamn

"Touching a Goaltender is like whacking a made guy in the mob. There will be immediate & sever consequences."-Ross Bernstein

"Is hockey hard?" "I don't know, you tell me. We need to have the strength and power of a football player, the stamina of a marathon runner, and the concentration of a brain surgeon. But we need to put all this together while moving at high speeds on a cold and slippery surface while 5 other guys use clubs to try and kill us, oh yeah did I mention that this whole time we're standing on blades 1/8 of an inch thick? Is ice hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. Next question." -Brendan Shanahan

This is the mask with my teams new away jerseys. We got them from the IJTeam jersey company out of montreal, they did an excellent job at an excellent price, and they came incredibly quick, actually. I could write up a review on them if anyone else would be interested. Anyways, here is my mask with the new jerseys (basically just showing you guys my set up as well).

All depends on the mask design really, but compared to the other guys out there who aren't painting the pro's masks Id say its on the cheaper side.

These are two more that I just finished up. One day when I get a break Ill paint one for myself!

Last mask I ever painted back in 2003. Simmons (don't recall the model). Painted to go with my custom setup. Being from Belarus and a Devils fan, I used the "Mountain Dew" logo changed it to "Mounting Jew". On the chin is a #20 painted like razor blades. The red star on the forehead represents me being born in the Soviet Union. I had also painted a dangler with the same star and the word "Deported" in the same type as Heineken since my friends always teased me that they would report me to the INS. Oh yeah, forgot to add, the backplate says "Do the Jew".

I still have the mask, but the gear I sold back 5 or so years ago since the last time I played goal was February 2005.

Mask by Dillon. Paint by John Pepe.

Theme is a medieval illuminated manuscript. The right side is the first chapter of the Jacques Plante instruction book translated into Latin. The crown is the family coat of arms.
