What is this material called? If I ever go the Warrior custom glove route, then this is the finish/ material that I would want. I have played with the customizer, and know there are a lot of options. I just want to know how to get my gloves to have this glossy type finish with the little sort of checkerboard pattern. I saw these gloves for sale on eBay, but would never buy or wear anything with Matt Cooke's name on it.

Carbon is decently durable, judging by how many goalie leg pads have it.

I actually want a pair of gloves made entirely of gold carbon.

Are there any retail gloves that have this carbon finish? I noticed too on the customizer that there is no more carbon, after seeing the answer in this thread.
