I do not like the Eagle "base" gloves (Aero/ Aero Pro/ etc.). I know the palms are gret, they just do not have anything that fits my hand too well. (X-Axis says I got low volume hands. Although my ego is bruised, this sort of explains why most gloves do not feel right.)

Try the Talon's. They're Eagles tapered fit model.

I got a follow up to my previous inquiry about all the sticks:

We have heard that there is some confusion on Sports2k about the Warrior gloves we are receiving.  So we thought we would clarify our answer to help you and some of the others understand whats going on.

So with that being said we do have a relationship with Warrior to the effect that they will occasionally come to us with a list of various overstock pro stock equipment.  From these lists, we have the opportunity to pick and choose which pieces of equipment we would like to purchase and sell on our site.

Often times, many of these items are quite unique. In respect to gloves, we have received and may receive gloves consisting of the following: retired players, current player spec, 3rd jersey, Stadium Series, Heritage Classic, Winter Classic, All-Star, Sochi Olympic and KHL. Each of these gloves are overstock for a reason.  Some of these reasons are more obvious than others but we can assure you, they are all pro stock quality.

I understand that the retired players’ gloves may be the most unique and therefore maybe a little confusing as to why we have access to them, so let me explain. The retired players’ gloves that we have received have been made for that player and for their participation in either an alumni game, training camp, promotional event and/or commemorative event.  Many of these players are still part of the organization and ambassadors of the league so the manufacturers still make gloves for them even though they are not currently playing in the NHL.

I hope this response satisfies your question and alleviates any concern you may have about the quality and authenticity of these gloves.

Please let us know if you have any further questions,

Best Regards,

PSH Customer Service

Sorry, still not buying it. Whether it's PSH or Warrior themselves, someone is still making these specifically for resale. 10 pairs per event? 10+ Karlsson sticks in the wrong flex with incorrect name font? Right.

NHL teams could care less that you want a pair of brand new Warrior Luxe/Franchise custom thumb loop super custom digi toilet paper soft palm with double added reinforced custom Warrior logo backhand padding gloves or a 17 flex double kreps curve upside down toe hook stick from your fav player/team. -Bakes

Notice how they say "Pro Stock Quality" and not all "Pro Stock"

I believe PSH, and it's good to hear that they're not actually ordering these batches. I remember last year when hockeymonkey got a bunch of easton pro sticks, and it was pretty obvious that they weren't real pro stock because some sticks and curves just didn't make sense (a 75 flex V9E kreps for Bieksa? yeah right). Nobody really complained and bought the sticks to use them.

I think PSH in a tough spot given that people like us can sort of tell what's real pro stock and what's not, but they're still a business and they need to have inventory so people will buy stuff. And from the looks of it, lots of you have indeed purchased those sticks with the intention of using them. If PSH wasn't buying those sticks, hockeymonkey or your LHS would, and that would be a lost opportunity for them to make money. So it's a difficult position to cater to both collectors and users of stuff.

From now on it's probably best to try your best to find out what's "real pro stock" and ignore what's not.

I think everyone here is still sore over the warrior plant closing. If the traded/retired gloves were a mix of cool spec canadian made gloves we'd all be singing a different tune. Everyone is still angry that warrior gloves are made overseas. And it shows, look at all the pros ditching warrior nowadays. If you think overseas gloves are better than canadian or even on par your in serious denial my friend

Exactly the reasoning I mentioned, it makes a little bit of sense.

I think it's really awesome that they have these even if they aren't ACTUAL game used gloves. But I still find these prices absurd, 199$ USD for pants + fees + taxes = 292USD which is roughly 380$ CAD......for pants! A bit extreme. Like I totally understand that they have a business to run, but there is a reason I never shop there

They actually feel pretty similar in terms of comfort, but there are some clear differences cosmetically and with the foams used inside.

Anyway the pics are in my s2k gallery, no idea how to get them here - I usually use flickr lol

And just a thought regarding the validity of their sticks, if they were legit shouldn't they have the team end cap in instead of the generic warrior plug?

End caps probably come from the equipment managers, no?

End caps come direct from Warrior for all custom sticks made specifically for the team. A custom stick made with a certain players flex and specs but has the namebar changed slightly will not have it. You can order Easton custom sticks as well with player specific specs but they will not put the NHL players name on the stick. You can put something similar but not exactly what they use.

Not all warrior twigs have the team logo on the end caps. It was given to me as an option when custom ordering so if a team does not request it they probably just get the normal one

Doesn't really matter what glove you're wearing when hit in the fingers with a clapper like that.
