What's wrong with their flex ratings? Is the flex different from what they have listed on the site? I thought they had a flex check machine...

Its often off.  Sometimes you can zoom in on bauer/ccm twigs and see that they didn't even follow the rating on the stick.  Seems like G3s always rate stiffer on their scale then what bauer lists them at.  Ive also seen the exact same stick construction in the same flex rated differently. 

 

I just ignore their rating and go off the picture, go by past sticks of that player ive seen or email them for sticker pics.  I think that rating machine actually just causes more uncertainty than anything.

In all fairness, the Bauer G3 plays a little stiffer. I have an 82 Rb7pro and a 77 G3 and they feel very much the same in terms of stiffness. I know it's simply a matter of construction. My first G3, an 82 flex felt kinda stiff right off the bat so that's when I first realized it

When it comes to PSH though, sometimes they don't even bother to post what the actual stick is. They have G3s and I'm positive they know what they are but I'm lead to believe they just don't want to do the explaining online ....

Same thing when I saw they had Olli Jokinen Apx2s which are B construction. Very easy to tell when you zoom in on the picture, and an Lhs has some too so I could confirm I've seen in person. But if they indicate that's it's a Vapor XXX Lite then people might go 'WTF' ? And think twice before buying. I'm sure they figure it's not worth the trouble

^ ive seen sticks and they are listed as whatever the paint job is when you can see on the pic it clearly says G3.

Yeah it's a bummer when pro stock is made only in sizes worn by pros.

I imagine there exists that size for a college/university team out there somewhere. But yeah I have yet to see that size.
