Hey Folks

We are a family run pro stock hockey business out of Canada. We recently opened an online e-commerce store and the response has been amazing.

We have a pretty good selection of brand new pro stock sticks, but we are finding that people are most interested in our refurbished stick.  At a quarter the cost of getting it off the shelf people are really excited to use the newest, latest greatest stick without breaking the bank, they work great and come with a guarantee.

Our store is priced in CAD dollars so US customers are able to take advantage of the great deal on exchange rate right now as well.

Check us out.

Doesn't Canada offer a cheaper way to ship? $35 CAD!?

I have great things to say about Walshy, I buy all my sticks from him directly in the shop.

Now when it says refurbished what are we talking about? A stick that was in two peices or dings and a crack?

A refurbished stick is a stick that has been repaired from a break, two pieces back into one solid stick using the SRS technology

*NEGATIVE REVIEW*
Picked up some refurbished sticks off them for ball hockey, figured the blade would wear down before the repair gave way.

They just came in today after ordering them 3 weeks ago. Shipping was fast once they actually shipped but took almost 2.5 weeks for them to get them out. Wasnt to bothered by this as i understand that they might not have had any repaired instock or still had to repair them. I contacted them via email 3 times to inquire and never got a response till i got a call saying they were ready to ship.

I called them back and said they were just wanted to go over a few things. I asked for 95-102 flex. I was told the ones i would be getting were labeled as 87 but with the repair it would be like 93-94 flex which i was fine with. They came in and id say they r maybe 88 flex tops, dont think they repair added much if any stiffness. It also probably didnt help that the repair was right were they flex on 2 of the 3 which made those 2 feel softer. When you flex those 2 it makes an awful creaking sound almost like glue or resin cracking. And lastly i order the sticks to be +2" longer than retail and all 3 were shorter,2 were about 1.5" shorter than retail and the other 2.5" shorter So about 4-5" shorter than i ordered.

All in all the stick are useable, cant speak to the durability yet but from the sound they make when i flex them, I'm skeptical.

Customer service was good till i placed my order then i couldnt get a response back. Stick were not the right flex or length that I order. I basically feel like they just sent me what they had on hand that was closest to what i asked for.

I WONT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN.

bsteven39 sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with us. I cannot comment on the specifics of your order (it was placed at a time before we made extensive notes).  However, I did look it up and noted that it was placed at a time when I personally was on a rare holiday (4 days in New Orleans) and generally try to respond to emails myself, and actually pride ourselves on being quite accessible.

As for the sticks we have changed our ordering process where we ask for the player/stick height of each individual for every refurbished stick purchased so that we can not only send out sticks that are retail height but ones that are taller as well (many pro stocks are extended to begin with).

The flex of hockey sticks can vary significantly from what is printed by the manufacturer.  That is why we have invested in a flex testing machine and test the flex of the sticks before sending them out.  We understand that this can cause slight confusion when it is marked as a different flex profile but we dont mind answering these questions and ultimately feel like getting what your ordered is most important.

Cheers.

Just received my first purchase from Hockey Stick Man.  Joe was a great guy to deal with.  He was very quick with his repossesses to email.  He called me to say he was out of stock of the specific stick I wanted, and offered me other options.  Turn around on ship time was fine 1 day to process, and it only took 2 days to get to me.  I will be doing business with him again.
