game jerseys and helmets are auctioned off. 

 

They sell the game helmets at the sale. I've picked a few up there over the years.

 

In fact, I wore it when you rented Yost a little while back. Thanks again for the invite BTW.

Its not really worth it from the one I went to unless you're willing to literally camp out ahead of time. Otherwise the good stuff gets picked through. Fortunately the stuff isn't usually worth much on the secondary market since its only really popular in Michigan, Northwest Ohio and Southern Ontario so you can usually find decent deals on stuff on eBay. The only thing I would call super duper rare are the helmets. I remember seeing one or two online a few years back and didn't pull the trigger and never seen one since.

I have seen years when helmets have been still available when I got and other years nothing....That is the type of item that is really hit and miss...

If I remember correctly when they were first trying out the painted helmets there were a few left over almost till the end of the sale. They were a small size but still there. Like Markov I've seen plenty of times the helmets still there for the 2nd to 3rd wave of people and other where there was only 4-5 helmets total.

In the past, the minimum bid was in the $200-250 range. I've never bought one, but I'm pretty sure I've checked toward closing and seen some available in this range.

This type of auction totally sucks. They have no details on the jerseys whatsoever like size or condition, and you have no idea where you stand and if you’ve been outbid and if you need to increase your bid.....so stupid.

Any Michigan guys on here that know which set of jerseys that are up for auction would have the least wear? Anyone know how many games they wore the blue alternates for?
