Curious what the name embroidery looks like. Is the frequency font available?

I plan on visiting Pat this afternoon, if I remember i'll ask about font options.

I just spoke to Pat on the phone I'm sending several pairs to him and he said the name embroidery will be like the Canadian made warrior's that was in his own words not sure if that answer's the question or not.

Good to know.  I'm assuming that's the NHL Frequency font, but we'll see.

Are you having the embroidery done on yours?

It is the "frequency" nhl font.

Dropped off my dynasty gloves this afternoon, excited to show off Pats work when I get them back.

Shipping first class to Canada costs about $15 (2 pounds wrapped in a plastic bag, in a box would be a little heavier/expensive)
Shipping back I would think cost the same or a little more.

Why do you charge $40 on eBay then? Sounds pretty shady to me

When have i charged $40 on eBay to Canada?

My prices are generally to canada

Priority- sticks $36 (shipped in a custom box that costs $3, and I lose $3.60 in eBay fee's so I end up losing money on shipping sticks to canada), Pants $36-38 (5-6 pounds), Gloves $34-36 (2-3 pounds)

First class- $12-22 depending on glove and weight, sticks are too big for first class. Most people don't choose first class because its too slow even though its cheaper.

I haven't decided yet he's going to call me when they show up and go from there.

I will definitely post pics when I get them could be a while though USPS said 6-10 days to arrive (cheapest option) not sure how long to ship back he estimates 2-3 day for the work though which I thought was pretty good for 7 pairs.

You can count on it... Pats work will sell itself.

Pat said he is working on a way to make return shipping a little cheaper for our friends south of the border. Although Pats work is worth the shipping costs to and from Canada.

Once you get your gear back moded the way you want, with Pat's top notch work, the shipping fees will be an after thought.

You would have to email him about that. Its a lot easier to remove/embroider/add an extension with a name embroidered than on the upper thumb.

Yea I'll probably do that. So its like how the pro stock coverts have the # embroided extension on the undercuff? I notice that my blank coverts have that space for it.

I cant answer that, email Pat. Everything was usually embroidered before it was put together when I worked at warrior.

I'll ask him that for sure, just thought since theres a blank space there and the pro's w/ numbers have them embroided there with what looks like a patch/extension with numbers and then sewn onto the undercuff. Appreciate the info though.

I got my gloves back from Pat today. As I expected, his work is top notch.

I asked pat to add the zetterberg slash guards, fresh repalm, and to take off half my gusset height.

I know people are going to ask, zetterberg slash guards START at $40. Depending what cuff you have, more work may be needed on your gloves.

WOW.  Incredible work.  Thanks for posting this, Ian.

Apart from how good they look, how is the "feel" after all that work?
