Hello hockey fans/players, I'm Chad from North Carolina.

I've played hockey most my life and only just recently caught wind of the Pro-Stock market. It seems like a neat niche market and I'm intrigued. I don't know if I'm to the point of collecting things just yet, at this point I'm just looking for affordable and quality equipment to use.

I guess it can be said about most any market such as this but how can I trust that something is "Pro-Stock" if I'm buying from this site or other sites? What are things to look for to tell that something is pro stock?

What are some of the main kickers of pro-stock items vs new retail items? A question I pose is could I not just buy $60.00 pair of retail gloves and receive the same use/experience as a pair of $100+ pro stock gloves?

Thanks in advance

It all depends of your needs. Some poeple prefer pro gear because of the better construction and different color options available, but most players are happy with retail gloves.

Most companys now offer good quality gloves at many price points.
