I'm so confused by whatever the Canucks are doing. I thought they were happy with Bonino, and where he was in the lineup. Guess not

Anytime the Benning Canucks are involved in a trade, the other team wins.

I'm dumbfounded with this trade.. How did we get fleeced so bad? A bottom 6 forward and a 3rd pick?!!

One foot in the door one out the other, I dont mind gettin Sutter at all but management need to figure it out! I rather sacrifice a few years of shit and be a top contender than bein a medicore team that exits in the 1st round. I don't think majority of the city is willing to accept it and same w/ the Aquilini's.

I don't even like Bonino that much but he's better than Sutter. Sutter was described by Pens fans as a soft Ryan Kesler. So much for playing with an edge.

Meh Bonino still was inconsistent, he had a great start and then kinna fell a bit and his career year season he was behind Getz, Perry, Selanne, Koivu and the rest of the Ducks offense at the time, still yet proven to be a legit top 6. Sutter was playing behind Crosby and Gino and yet Pens fans dont complain those two bein soft the last few years instead of Sutter lol

To me the trade is a wash.  Clendening wasn't going to be in the top 6 in Vancouver.  Bonino was inconsistent but still put up 39 points (compared to Sutters 33).  Sutter being a right hand shot is a plus too.

I just think Benning needs more direction with where he's going now. I don't think the team needs a full rebuild, just think we need more solid talent then trading around mediocre players.

I think we do need a rebuild if we are ever going to win a cup. This so called core is not getting any younger, might aswell get assets back while their value is still there. We have many young players in the system that will be the future of the franchise, I think pple are just having a hard time grasping it and thats what its going to take.

Pens fans are sayin Sutter is soft but dont realize how soft Bonino was here. Only thing that bothers me is Clendening was traded for Forsling last year and now that trade is a write off. Sutter is a better fit than Bonino, and we need a RH centerman.

That's probably my biggest issue with the trade was clendening. Forsling was a stud prospect with the potential to control the power play. We have him up for a defenceman that could help us in the here and now then give him up for nothing?!

Loosing Forsling was not good at all and neither tradin Clendenning. Although he didn't seem like he was going to be a top D we have guys comin up like Corrado and we aquired Bartkowski both of em are still pretty young.
