If you ever figure that out let me know. We'll write a book and spend the rest of our lives wiping our asses with $100 bills.I just want to know what the accusers Mom was thinking lying about the rape kit. What did she hope to accomplish? and how in the world did she think she was going to get away with it?
I've yet to figure out why people do things like that. Sometimes it's because they want to distract investigators, bolster allegations, draw attention away or they just love being the center of attention. That last one is REAL COMMON. I've lost count of how many times I've watched people try to "out-grieve" one another at death scenes. They stop just shy of saying, "No. I loved him/her more and thus I'm more deserving of the pity." Ironically, many times those same people couldn't be bothered to lift a finger for the victim prior to their demise. I've actually had to break fights between family members that were vying for most aggrieved status. One time it even happened while the media was broadcasting live and they got pretty good footage of a guy getting tased. Watch the news next time a significant incident occurs in your area. People clamor to the news crews just for a chance to be a part of the action.
Human beings are strange animals. They do things for good reasons, bad reasons and sometimes for no reason at all.
