For instance if you had no choice but to compromise for a size or had different preferences for different size skates. How many skates could you wear and still be able to play pretty good? I think i can wear size 7 D to 8.5 D and my shoe size is a 9 or 9.5.
How big or small of a skate can you go and still confidently skate good enough?

I think you could wear a variety of sizes within a certain window and widths, what might have a larger bearing on your comfort is the chane in holder size that one is not accustomed.
