It wasn't an argument, you assumed that when I said the stick isn't available in 28 series curve that I meant in any capacity and freaked out implying I was just angry or jealous because I didn't have access to one.

You then tried to pick apart my statement regarding ribs saying I didn't know what I was talking about because the Reckoner technically doesn't have "ribs" (plural) even though the tension fibers are essentially the same concept as before just tweaked.

You assumed I have never used a Reckoner at all, I've stick handled with one and I've shot in a cage with one but I'm truly sorry I did not include every single fact in the post. My bad wheelsnipe I forgot this is serious bizzness.

You need to chill.

The new reckoners have a different geometry for the lower half of the shaft, instead of the ribs it's just a concave geometry now.

1n is the best stick I've used so far. I do notice some more accuracy with the nexus mid kick vs something like the nxg. I feel ill have to give the reckoner a try because I was a fan of the 20k and they thankfully brought back the duchene retail curve.

Curious,  I see the curves changed with the reckoner , was using an 87a Crosby with a 40k ribcor. which was pretty much an e3. Is the p29 close or some minor adjusting will be needed? Any noticeable changes coming from the 40k to the reckoner

P29 is the P92, E3, W03, etc. the P19 is more of a H11 pattern, the P29/92 has more toe, like the H11A pattern. 87A and P29 are the exact same

I've owned 3 1Ns at the point and two Reckoners. In terms of puck feel I would say that the Reckoner does have a noticeably stiffer blade than the 1N. I personally like the 1N blade more because IMO it helps deliver a harder shot. I'm sticking with the 1N because it gives me a better shot without having to adjust anything. They are both very good and I really liked the Reckoner but I just feel that it doesn't offer any shot feedback because of the low kick point. I can feel the stick working when I use the 1N. Both offer power with almost no effort but for me the shaft shape is better on the 1N, the Reckoner feels thicker and more squared. The accent blade is still good but I prefer the SXX blade of the Reebok honestly. I think the shots come off very quick with the Reckoner but the original came off slightly harder with the same effort.

Older post but been using the reckoner quite a bit . Not sure if im an exception but blade durability is crap , reminds me of the v9es chipping etc . Shots do come off pretty quick with it more so over the 40k imo .Has a nice feel for stickhandling & it feels balanced. Doubt ccm will warr. for a deteriorating blade lol but I may try for the heck of it

For me i cant stand the feel of the 1n, its a little to soft for me. The stiffness in the 1x and the ribcore are amazing though. I highly recommend the ribcore and the 1x

Yea I felt the similar but thought the 1x was soft , but maybe it was to low of a flex I was using. Curious guys I broke my reckoner the other night , loved the pop , stickhandling and release of it. Coming from low kick sticks v9e , rs2 . How is the nexus 1n I hear so many rave reviews im thinking about trying one, just don't want a loss in release quickness/power coming from lower kicks

The 1N in my opinion is one of the best sticks ever made. The power is there, the release is still quick, wrist shots are fantastic for a mid kick and for my mechanics wrist shots are great. Honestly the only thing I'd change is I'd give it a 1X blade which is possible through full custom.

That's funny because I just went to my LGS today to see if I could get some customs made and I requested this exact build (1N shaft with Aerosense 2 blade). I really hope they're able to get these prostocks made.

Custom everything.

2 CCM RBZ sticks i have bought, the toe has split/separated. Liked them up until that point, wont be going back to CCM for sticks for a while because of it.

Must have something to do with having a hollow blade?

So I've just changed up my shot mechanics... A lot... Pretty much the hull method of shooting and to practice this I picked up a bottom of the line stick in a 60 and the extra zip on my shot is unbelievable but what I'm worried about is going back to something like the 1n in a lower flex. Obviously the 1n is a performance stick and durability isn't the main concern in performance sticks. So going down to an intermediate flex from a senior 77/87 should I be worried about snapping one while shooting?
