I use the Stik Tape, then the BASE wax, then the Max control. I have gone about 15 hockey sessions, on a couple of different occasions, without needing a re-tape. The puck also sticks nicely to my blade when I want it to, and my blade does not seem to take on water.

So I got and used this wax last night and for $20 for wax plus base layer. I was not impressed what I love about wax is anti-snow build up and my sex wax preformed light years ahead of the proformance wax in that department I was very unimpressed with this product for quadruple the price of regular sex wax. If there is snow all over our blade the wax simply can't do its job maybe I need to put more on then my tradition 10 passes. For now sticking with sex wax
