I'll try and keep this as brief and to the point as possible. Basically I have a pair of nexus 7000v skates. Tonight I developed a hot spot on the inside of my ankle on my left boot, right on the point of my ankle bone. It seems as though the point of my inside ankle has pushed away all the padding that cushions it from the shell/structural part of the boot. I've never had issue with my left foot other than minor heel lift because my left is smaller. Also for reference I'm transitioning from a 8D total one boot to a 7E/A.

I've had these wheels for some time but have only been able to skate once or twice a week because of my work schedule, which isn't exactly helping the break in process. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yellow superfeet insoles have some heal lift with the plastic orthotic and will change the position of your ankle bone and wear it interacts with the boot. I had a similar issues with both boots on my nexus pro stocks and supper feet solved the issue just make sure you go to a shop that sizes you correctly which is very important. They also have a 30 comfort warranty which you can get a full refund if they don't solve your problem. I'd go down this route first and if no relief id then punch out the spot.

What about re-baking them? Couldn't hurt. IceWarehouse has a great video on youtube on how to do it at home.
