Always sad seeing coaches fired but I think everyone could see this coming. Good move I think.

When you underachieve with the likes of Crosby, Malkin and Kessel on the roster things are bound to be changed.  A few reports hinted at a rift between Crosby and Johnston.

He was a John Deere mechanic working in a Ferrari dealership.

They should fire Rutherford as well. this team should have gone out and got some d men instead of Phil. They've lost 5 nhl d-men in the last three years and haven't replaced them.

I agree that the D is lacking but when your PP of Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Kunitz, Letang is 26th im the league the defense isn't the problem at that point.

this made me so happy this morning. Johnston's system was a waste of Sid and Geno's talents. teh amount of 1 goal games they were in was killing me and had it not been for MAF playing out of his mind the Pens would have a losing record.

always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......
