How can it happen that when you cut a 110 flex it becomes 95??

How can it happen that when you cut a 110 flex it becomes 95??
Because it was an extended height shaft plus about a 3" wood plug. The thing was extremely tall new. It's still taller than retail height at its current height.
Plus Eastons have always been whippier than marked in my opinion. I think their rating are measured 3" below retail height. At least they were in the past.
