Wow, thought the Wings would put up more of a fight... they are getting pretty old.
Actually, it's the opposite.
The problem is that we have to rely on guys like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Kronwall because guys like Nyquist, and Tatar disappear for the playoffs. Guys that do show some positive signs, like AA, play 7 minutes a night. I understand why Larkin tailed off the last part of the season. It's his first year as a pro, but still we counted on him to carry the team through an ~90 game season, yet he only played 50 in his one year at college. Also, our D corp is abysmal and we refuse to sit guys like Ericsson when we have other plays on the roster or in the AHL that could do a better job than him, because he's awful.
